Crowdin partner · ISO 9001 and ISO 27001 certified · Nearly two decades of localization experience

Crowdin lays the groundwork. A Localization Squad takes it further.

Crowdin offers plenty of ways to connect your localization workflow with the tools your team already uses, from code repositories to design tools and other apps. The challenge is figuring out which integrations actually make sense for your setup and making sure they keep working as your team grows and things change. That's where our Localization Squad comes in. We explore the options, test what works best for your team and help you set up and maintain the integrations that make your day-to-day work easier.

  • Your Crowdin, your control. We join your Crowdin or Crowdin Enterprise projects as vendor or contributor, or use Beluga's own Crowdin accounts when vendor delivery fits better. The work stays in projects your team can see and control.
  • Context where it lives. Translators and reviewers work from Crowdin context: screenshots, keys and file structure. Queries go to your localization lead and get closed there.
  • Your cadence. Continuous or per release, synced with how your product ships.
  • Names, not a queue. You see who works on your account, language by language.

When your localization process needs more than a platform

  • Your product releases faster than your localization team can keep up.
  • Translators change, and valuable product knowledge gets lost.
  • Queries, approvals, and reviews slow down delivery.
  • Your team spends more time coordinating vendors than improving localization.
  • You have Crowdin in place, but your workflows aren't delivering the efficiency you expected.

That's where a Beluga Localization Squad comes in.

What a Localization Squad brings to your Crowdin setup

A Localization Squad is a stable team that keeps product and account knowledge across releases, so no delivery starts from zero. You get the continuity of an in-house team without hiring one. On Crowdin, it covers:

  • String translation: with the same linguists across releases, working in Crowdin
  • Reviews: by reviewers per language who know your product
  • LQA: when the release needs it, on the live product or in context
  • Terminology: kept current in your Crowdin glossary
  • Project management: beside your localization lead, with queries closed where they started
  • Process consultancy: on workflows, steps and who decides what
  • Governance: of quality and AI use, with AI and MT matched to content risk and business impact
  • Implementation: of the Squad and the workflows you keep in Crowdin: setup, tests and handoff

How we start

  1. Talk. A call about your Crowdin setup, your languages, your release rhythm and what isn't working. Book it here.
  2. Access. You give us the access the work needs in your Crowdin projects, or we agree to run vendor delivery through Beluga's account. You keep control of your organization and settings.
  3. Set up. We build your Squad per language, load or clean up terminology, memories and style guides, and agree with you how AI and MT are matched to content risk and business impact.
  4. Start with a small pilot. We start within a few days, on a small pilot on live Crowdin work, so you can judge the quality and the way we work before anything grows.
  5. Run and improve. The same team takes every release. LQA findings and your feedback go back into terminology, instructions and workflow for the next cycle.

How to add Beluga to your Crowdin project

To start, invite our project manager to your Crowdin project. They put your Localization Squad together, assign the work and run the workflow with you.

For projects on Crowdin

Open your project Dashboard → Members → choose the role Manager → in Emails or usernames, enter team@belugalinguistics.com → Invite. We get the invitation and contact you to plan the first steps.

For projects on Crowdin Enterprise

  1. Invite team@belugalinguistics.com to your project as Manager: Dashboard → Members → enter the email → set the role to Manager → Invite.
  2. To send jobs to us from your workflows: Workspace settings → Vendors → Invite Vendor → select Beluga Linguistics. Once we accept, you can use Translate by vendor and Proofread by vendor steps in your project workflows.

Why teams work with Beluga

  • Human expertise where it matters. We combine experienced linguists, reviewers, and project managers with AI and automation where they add value. Technology supports the process; people make the decisions that require context and judgment.
  • Expertise where it adds value. Not every piece of content needs the same level of human intervention. We help you find the right balance between AI, machine translation, specialist review, and quality assurance, so you can invest your localization budget where it matters most.
  • Continuity that improves quality. Your dedicated Localization Squad builds knowledge of your product, terminology, and stakeholders across releases, reducing repeated onboarding and helping maintain consistency.
  • Transparency and direct communication. You know who's working on your content, how decisions are made, and how quality issues are addressed.
  • We adapt to your Crowdin setup. We work within your existing environment, tools, and workflows, rather than requiring you to change platforms.
  • Nearly two decades of localization experience. We bring practical experience managing multilingual content, specialist teams, and evolving localization requirements.
  • Well-paid linguists, long-term relationships. We believe that quality starts with valuing the people behind it. We offer fair compensation and build long-term relationships with our linguists, fostering the trust, stability, and continuity that benefit our clients.

Crowdin partner. Beluga is a Crowdin partner: see our Crowdin partner profile. We trained over 100 localization professionals (project managers and linguists) on best practice in the tool, so our staffing matches how Crowdin teams work day to day.

Work we've done and how we're certified

  • Hyperconnect. About 20 languages: first European expansion, then the Asian and Middle East languages, as continuous localization. Read the Hyperconnect case study.
  • Infobip. A partnership model where Infobip manages its translators directly and Beluga selects, trains and onboards the linguists, coordinates the work and keeps a contingency plan, so new features ship in every language at once. Read the Infobip case study.
  • Crowdin partner with a public partner profile, and over 100 localization professionals trained on best practice in Crowdin.
  • ISO 9001:2015 and ISO/IEC 27001:2022, certified by LRQA (certificates 00012356 and 00041122, valid 4 Jun 2026 to 3 Jun 2029). They cover Beluga's management and information-security systems. They are not a Crowdin or TMS product certification.

Considering Crowdin, or switching into it?

Already on Crowdin, evaluating it, or leaving another TMS? Talk to us before you talk to the vendor's sales rep.

We work inside Crowdin every day. We give you user-to-user feedback on fit. If Crowdin is the right move, we introduce you as a Beluga lead, so the handoff is warm and you keep control of the relationship. If you are leaving another stack, we help you check whether Crowdin, and how Beluga would staff it, matches how your localization team works.
